The adjustable polarizing filter is a gray filter for dimming bright objects. The two filters are rotated against each other, after which the light transmission ability can be adjusted by gently rotating. Attaches to the 1.25 "eyepiece filter ring. Especially suitable for viewing the Moon, as the image can be blindingly bright, especially with large telescopes. It also improves the contrast when viewing planets.
