Ritchey-Chrétien are used in observatories worldwide due to their great optical design. The hyperbolic primary and secondary mirror offer a large fully illuminated field of view. This telescope can is equipped with a 2" star diagonal and a 25 mm eyepiece, so it can be used for visual observing as well! The 6" RC is very compact and easy to transport to a dark sky site.

The equatorial mount EQ5 handles the RC telescope with very good stability, and is sufficient for visual observing and astrophotography. The mount comes with a rigid tripod made of stainless steel. The mount can be upgraded with a tracking motor, please contact us for more info!
