This telescope is perfectly suited for astrophotography. A coma corrector is needed to get the full sharpness of the stars in the complete field of view. Due to the fast focal ratio of f/4, this astrograph provides pure speed and therefore short exposure times. The tube combines the advantages of a carbon tube, regarding temperature stability, with the rigidity of a solid tube. After temperature changes, refocusing is not needed. The connecting elements are precisely CNC-manufactured of aluminium.
