GSO 6" f/12 Classical Cassegrain Telescope

The main advantages of the classic Cassegrain are the compact design, moderate secondary mirror obstruction (33%) and a pure reflecting system without lenses. Furthermore, the open design ensures few dew problems, the optics are well protected in the tube and cool down is relatively quick. The field of view is well corrected and relatively flat. This Cassegrain is particularly suitable for visual observing and planetary/lunar imaging because of its long focal length.
