This sun viewfinder is a safe and easy way to find the sun with the telescope. He is absolutely safe, because you are not looking through the viewfinder, but at him. The viewfinder projects an image of the sun onto a small projection screen. Simply pan the telescope until the solar image is directly in the middle of the screen, and the sun will be visible in the field of view of the eyepiece.
