Celestron Losmandy Style Dovetail Bar for 8" SC and EHD telescopes

The dovetail rail is an optimal fit for these Celestron telescopes. The distance between the holes corresponds directly. Due to the profile design, optimal stability comes with low weight. The concave surface automatically adapts to the tube profile of the Celestron C8 telescope.

This dovetail allows you to attach the optical tube assembly to Losmandy style saddle plate mounts. Suitable parties are, for example:

• Celestron CGEM, CGE, CGX, ...
• Skywatcher EQ6, AZ-EQ6, EQ8, ...
• Losmandy G11
• Avalon M-Uno, linear, ...
• and many more

The dovetail rail also makes it possible to attach accessories piggyback on the tube. You can mount the rod on top of the telescope. Then you can attach 3" Losmandy-style dovetail clips, binocular rings or a piggyback camera mount to the telescope and also remove them in seconds.
