Artesky 2" Ultra Light Rack and Pinion Focuser for SC telescopes

The focuser is attached to the telescope near the focal point of the light-collecting optics. As the name suggests, eyepieces can be inserted into the focuser. For astrophotography, the focusers take cameras and bring them into focus. Therefore one speaks of focuser instead of the focuser.

This focuser is especially suitable for the Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes from Celestron and Meade. It can simply be screwed onto the SC thread. The focuser is particularly light and therefore hardly loads the mount. Nevertheless, it carries accessories of up to five kilograms and enables precise focusing. The focus can be held with a clamping screw.

The receptacle for the 2 "receptacles of eyepieces, diagonal mirrors and cameras can be unscrewed. The M54 thread behind enables screwed adaptation of cameras. You will also find a suitable field rotator in the accessories. If you screw this onto the focuser, you can do the accessories rotate through 360 °, especially in astrophotography, to select the best image section.
