TS Optics Premium XL Saddle Plate for Losmandy level dovetail bars

With the quick-coupling saddle plate from TS Optics, you can safely attach your telescope to mounts. By areal clamping with two clamping screws, a high clamping force is achieved. Additionally, unaesthetic pressure marks are avoided.

The saddle plate is excellently suitable for constructing double mountings. The threads are made from hardened aluminum, there will be no wear noticable even after many years. The two slotted holes at the inside are suitable for M6 and 1/4" screws.

Whether you want to adapt your telescope with a Losmandy level dovetail bar to a mount or attach heavy accessories, like a guiding scope, piggyback to your telescope - the TS premium saddle plate always establishes a stable junction.

Through the length of 160 mm of the saddle plate, vibrations are reliably reduced and even very long dovetail rails of up to 50 cm length are safely held.

Despite the strong clamping, unaesthetic dents are avoided

Two generously dimensioned areas press the dovetail bar to the other side of the saddle plate. The pressure is not concentrated on a point, but on a larger area of 62 mm width. That has a positive effect on the load capacity. Furthermore, unesthetic pressure marks are avoided.

Extremely versatile through 14 countersunk boreholes

Through 14 countersunk bores, the saddle plate is very versatile. You can attach this clamp to your mount, thus fitting it with a Losmandy level quick coupler. Or you attach tube rings or a camera mount to the base of the plate, enabling the use of heavy accessories parallel to your telescope.
