G3M462M

The G3M462M is a camera equipped with a Sony IMX462 monochrome sensor, which is best suited for photographing the moon and planets and as a guide camera. This model is an improved version of the well-established G3M290 -series.
The camera's 2.9µm pixels are also suitable for planetary photography with shorter focal length telescopes. At full resolution, the camera produces shooting speeds of up to 152 fps, and in Region of Interest (ROI) mode it is significantly faster when the camera is reading a smaller area of the sensor. In order to maximize the recording speed, it is advisable to save to the computer directly to the SSD drive.
