G3M678M is a camera equipped with a Sony IMX678 monochrome sensor, which is best suited for photographing the moon and planets and as a guide camera. The camera's 2.0 µm pixels are especially suitable for planetary imaging with a shorter focal length telescope. At full resolution, the camera produces shooting speeds of 47 fps, and in Region of Interest (ROI) mode, it shoots even faster when the camera reads a smaller area instead of the entire sensor. To maximize recording speed, it is recommended to record directly to the computer's SSD drive. The sensitivity of the camera has been improved compared to previous models and this model also achieves excellent performance in the infrared range.

DDR3 Buffer
The camera features a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 transmission interface and incorporates 512MB of DDR3 memory, ensuring reliable and secure data transfer. This setup effectively prevents frame dropping and significantly minimizes the amp glow effect resulting from slow reading speeds during long exposure times needed for deep sky imaging.
