Sky-Watcher's New Solar Telescope!

This is a specialized H-alpha telescope designed for solar observation. It provides a detailed view of the Sun at a wavelength of 656.28nm with an ultra-narrow bandwidth of just 0.5 ångström. This precision is achieved with Sky-Watcher's innovative Solis etalon interferometer, eliminating the need for an expensive double-etalon system.

For safe viewing, the diagonal mirror includes a built-in blocking filter. The Sun's image at the focal plane has a diameter of approximately 6mm. To capture full-disk solar images, ensure your camera sensor is at least 6mm in size.
