The FRA400C is the refreshed, budget-friendly iteration of the FRA400, and is suitable for astrophotography, daily photography, and visual observation.

The FRA400C is an OTA with an aperture of 72mm, a focal length of 400mm, and a native focal ratio of F5.6.

The optical structure of FR4A400C is the same as that of the FRA400, which is also designed with a Petzval-like optical structure, eliminating the need for specific back focus calculations. The FRA400C adopts a quintuplet air-spaced design, including 2 pieces of ED glass. It supports a 44mm full-frame image circle.

The aperture ranges of FRA400C from F22 to F5.6

The optional 0.7x FRA400C reducer shortens the total focal length to 280mm, and the focal ratio to F3.9, it supports a 44mm full-frame image circle.
