Castell 1.25" 680nm IR-Pass Filter

Castell 1.25" 680nm IR-Pass Filter works best with infrared-sensitive planetary cameras (e.g. ZWO ASI 224MC, 462MC ...), enabling imaging planets in the IR part of the spectrum that is less affected by atmospheric turbulence (seeing).

In practice, this 680nm IR-pass filter enables sharper images during poor seeing, or when the planets are low in the sky. It is also possible to get more detailed images when the IR channel is combined with RGB channels.
