Lacerta 1.25" Polarizing Filter is specifically designed for solar observing with a Herschel wedge. It can also be used to improve contrast in lunar and planetary observations.

The Lacerta polarizing filter is attached to a 1.25" eyepiece, after which the brightness and contrast of the image can be adjusted by rotating the eyepiece.

WARNING! Do not use the filter for solar observing without a Herschel wedge!
