The motorized filter wheel runs on USB power, allowing filters to be changed automatically using a computer. A powerful motor consumes less than 100 mA. A separate accessory can also be used as a power source (sold separately).

The filter wheel is light and narrow, the filters can be easily replaced without tools.

The prism of the off axis guider (10 x 8mm) best illuminates the cell of the Lodestar X2 guide camera, in the case of other guide cameras the fine adjustment needs to be done on a case by case basis.
