LUNT LS7-21ZE Zoom Eyepiece 7.2mm - 21.5mm 1.25"

LUNT SOLAR SYSTEMS zoom eyepiece with variable eyepiece focal length from 7.2mm to 21.5mm, with 1.25 inch (31.7mm) receptacle.

The optical concept of this eyepiece allows both the observation of the sun in the highest quality, as well as the observation of objects of the night sky. With excellent multi-coatings, a carefully developed internal aperture system and blackened lens edges, reflections are minimized. This zoom eyepiece does not have a large field of view, but emphasis has been placed on an optimal image over the entire visible field. Stars are depicted perfectly point-shaped, without distortion. The zoom is largely parfocal, from one end of the zoom path to the other only needs to be refocused by about 0.5mm. In addition, the eyepiece is equipped with a height-adjustable eyecup to block lateral incident stray light and help you find the optimal position for your eyes.
Please note that these eyepieces are only accessories for existing solar telescopes or filters when observing the sun. Solar observation alone with these eyepieces without additional solar filters is not possible!
